They make the funniest faces. There are a lot of Alpaca farms out this way. And Llamas too. Alpaca's are grown mostly for fiber and it is supposedly the best. MB
Even though we live in a conifer forest we don't have the large bushy tail, what I call city squirrels, here. We see an occasional Douglas Squirrel which is a real cute small black and tan cutie. Also called a Chickaree or Pine Squirrel and not the big Eastern gray. And never around the feeders. So I guess we are lucky. MB
Re. your comment yesterday: horse is still eaten here though it has become much rarer. It used to be very popular until about 50-60 years ago. My grandparents ate it so I'm sure I must have too, though I don't remember it...
