Spring already?

We've been blessed with some warmer weather the past week or so and it shows. Grass is greening, leaves are sprouting, and azaleas are blooming!

  1. Oh, that's nice. I don't think it's going to last, though, Lowell. A cold front is coming through. It's supposed to be chilly this weekend. Perhaps too chilly for these pretty azaleas.

  2. I hope they survive the cold. And you should play golf, Lowell. We have golfers in Washington who are out there playing come hell and high water. Who knows? You may even play better if you can't feel your hands. (I saw your comment to SRQ.)

  3. How lovely, Lowell! While we have been having nice temperatures here in Montreal for the past few days, we are due to get some snow tonight and tomorrow, and it is supposed to get cold again, so this is refreshing to see!

  9. Very pretty!

But I don't want spring to come any earlier than it's supposed to here. It did last year and then we had a frost that prevented some fruits and berries from forming. That;s not good for the birds!
