The College of Central Florida was previously known as the Central Florida Community College- a 2-year institution. Since we moved to Ocala eight years ago, the school has been able to upgrade to a full 4-year college offering a variety of degree programs. It has an excellent reputation and provides a great learning alternative for people who cannot afford the cost of attending one of the larger universities.
Great photos, Lowell. Nice to see that they have such a great reputation as well.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of that building. it's good to offer people an alternative to big $$$.
ReplyDeleteThe cost of college can be breathtaking. I'm glad I got my degree in the good old days when a person could actually pay off the loans within their lifetime.
ReplyDeleteReally? Interesting. I'm not familiar with this school. Fascinating how many new public colleges are popping up.
ReplyDeleteThe building in the second image is pretty appealing on the outside.
ReplyDeleteNice looking campus. Thanks for reminder too, I almost forgot I have class in the morning.
ReplyDeleteVery nice building!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful modern building,a nice College!
ReplyDeleteI like a lot your pictures and I like the soft blur in the first composition!
Well done!
Léia
Great pics, the college should use them in their marketing material!
ReplyDeleteThey should have you take photos for their course catalogs. It's a beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteSo, where can I find this song you wrote? I'd really like to hear it! I actually do like some country music: Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash and the song "Friends in Low Places", but that's about it. Until I hear your song, of course! I'm sure I'll enjoy it too.
It looks really impressive! Love those big windows and the palm trees. I bet people can get just as good of an education here as any bigger state school.
ReplyDeleteWe need more affordable education options.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice looking building. I think I could learn a thing or two inside those walls.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of educating as many people as possible. We'd all be better off if more people knew how to think. Okie dokie, I will now step off my soapbox. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I began my college career at a junior college.
ReplyDeleteIf I showed you the photo of the college that I attended.... You'd definitely not call this one a smaller institute by any means.... :-D ....
ReplyDeleteThe photos are wonderful and the building sure represents the modern architecture!
A great school for sure!!! I loved teaching there...they were my heart. Now my daughter is a student there and loves it. Great shot of the Ewers Center.
ReplyDeleteWe spent a Sunday afternoon with friends here walking through the beautiful art gallery. You should go it really is awesome.
ReplyDeleteImpressive! Lovely captures!
