    It brings new meaning to the phrase: "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear". Being run over by a school bus would kinda stink. It's a very clever shot, Lowell! I always look forward to seeing what you'll post each day.

    It's better to have them in the rear view mirror than in front, if your in a hurry.

    The tree in my photo today is not a fruit tree. It's some kind of ornamental but I don't know the name.

    School bus drivers should not tail gate. We never had seat belts on school buses when I was a kid. I don't know if they have them now.

    Ugh! I can hear the kids yelling, can't you? The bus driver was probably turned around in his/her seat to see who threw the spitball, slammed on the brakes just in time. . .just in time to keep the kid in the 3rd row from whacking the head of the kid in the 2nd row. . .No, wait! They're quiet, perfectly behaved, and looking forward to starting their homework. Objects in the mirror aren't as close as they look.

    I hate to say it, but this is a normal sight in Manila. You wouldn't want to drive here. Most Filipinos say they're good defensive drivers. I say they're offensive (in both senses of the word) drivers.
