That's a very traditional church building. Up until the early fall of last year, there was a Korean Baptist church near my house that I would pass almost every day. The property sold last year and now I see that some work is being done on it. The classroom building behind the church has been torn down to make room for a Starbucks and the church itself I hear might be turned into a restaurant. I'll miss those Korean letters across the the front of the church.
A nice, friendly looking building.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I went to Ocala today and as we were driving down Silver Springs Blvd. Sam made the comment about all the churches we had passed ;)
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of Korean churches here now too!
ReplyDelete200 churches! That is a remarkable number. This looks like it holds a reasonably sized congregation.
ReplyDeleteInteresting writing.
ReplyDeleteHow big is Ocala? That's an impressive number of churches for a single denomination! I like this building. It's lovely in its simplicity.
ReplyDeleteA nice looking building... but, no tower with bells?

ReplyDeleteIt intrigues me, we have one too. Wonder how many people attend and if they are exclusively Korean.
I'm like Karl. I always wonder what happened to towers and bells...
ReplyDelete200?
ReplyDeleteHere's an idea. How about consolidating! hahaha
Praise the Lord!
I don't think we have one of these here. But we have lots of other kinds of Baptist churches.

ReplyDeleteInteresting. Nice streamlined looking building. MB
ReplyDeleteTWO HUNDRED? How many with the other denominations? The sign is nice. Can't say I love the building.
ReplyDeleteNice clean lines, nicely captured. Love that perfect blue sky.
ReplyDeleteWell, you have your share of Baptists!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of Asian Baptist churches here too!
ReplyDeleteLovely ambiance!
ReplyDeleteKorean Baptist Church? Interesting. I've noticed plenty of churches while driving through that area, but didn't realize there were that many.
