Ah yes, Americans don't know the pain it is to park here. We love these in cities because you can park ANYwhere! And they are quite good on motorways (highways/freeways?) too!
I think these were a fad. A few years ago, I saw they quite regularly in Sarasota, but not anymore. Even for just puttering around town, you wouldn't stand a chance in that little thing against a mini van or sedan, let alone a truck.
It is cute but I;d be very afraid to drive it on a highway.

I think they are too expensive for what they are. You could buy a "real" car with more room and comfort for the same price.

ReplyDeleteI'd love a Smart Car, but many of my trips are to Costco. I think I'd have to put a luggage rack on the top to carry home the soy milk anc cereal!
