doing dinner

Okay, it's the weekend. You've worked hard for 5 days. (Unless you're retired like some people I know). You need a break and you certainly don't feel like cooking. But the restaurants are going to be jammed. So, go to doingdinner.com. I think they can help! Maybe.

  1. I checked the web site and this looks good to me. Better Than KFC. I can't figure out if they deliver to Canada. Can you help Lowell?

  2. I think that's a great idea for a business.

  3. Sounds like a good idea. I've just gotten back from a kiddie birthday party...pizza, cake, junk food...not my idea of dinner, but now I've no appetite.

  4. This made me curious, so I looked up their website. They seem to feature microwave meals you have to pick up. Wouldn't visiting the freezer section of the grocery store be easier?

Regarding the snake, it's a garter, I think. Apparently there are three different species here in Washington. We don't have venomous snakes in this part of the state, but there are rattlesnakes in Eastern Washington.

Hope you're having a great weekend so far!

  5. I agree, that's the reason today I will be all day long enjoying play time with Luna and peaceful naps, while Cezar is cooking at the kitchen! :D

  7. I'll be 'doing' other stuff but thanks for the gentle reminder. Time to break fast!

  8. I've decided to stop eating so no thanks. Not until I decide to eat again.

  9. This does't appeal to me at all; I like cooking too much to be interested. Just read a review of "Cooking" and am waiting in a long line at the library to get it. Sounds interesting how cooking has evolved in our country.

  12. Can I do it even if we are retired? Puhleeze? We're remodeling our kitchen~~ (I wish there were something like that around here...it'd sure beat pizza on those kinda' days.)

  13. Doing dinner is one of life's great pleasures, but don't think it should come from the back of a delivery truck. Interesting photo.

  14. I could probably handle that most nights!

  15. Dang! I missed the Friday night delivery. Saturday night, too. But I'm still a little peckish. Wonder if they'd just delive a little something for dessert. . .
