Spotted horses plus one not spotted


I spotted these horses a few weeks ago on a horse farm in Ocala. It seemed appropriate to post this photo as I read today that fourteen of the horses entered in the Kentucky Derby this year have roots in Ocala, which is, as you know, the "Horse Capital of the World"!

  13. This is a beautiful shot. It looks like a painting. We call those Leopard Appaloosas and they are great looking horses.
    I am not surprised that so many of the horses in the race are from those gorgeous stables around your place.

  16. I didn't know! And, I am interested. We are 'once a week' visitors to our local betting shop. Not big wagers but fun. Best part is getting to know more about racing & beautiful horses. Wonderful image!
