  1. Nice looking tower. Are they washing the windows? Or more serious work?

  4. Hee, the tower matches the architecture you post in The Villages. Very pretty.

  5. They would need that equipment to just wash the windows.

  6. I had no idea Ocala had its own airport. Aren't you fancy? :)

  8. I wouldn't want to be the one riding that basket up so high. There are so many people quietly doing dangerous jobs that get no recognition. Perhaps this one is window washing, an important thing for a control tower.

  11. This is an airport control tower? Very unusual for my eyes...
And where is the airport, there are a lot of trees... ?
The photo is beautiful, I like the sky! (you could link it to SkyWatch Friday).

  12. Nice shot, and the sky is especially beautiful.

I'm guessing it's just me. The antennae on top of the tower remind me of the "feelers" they used to put on cars so you'd know you were close to the curb (saving those precious whitewalls). If the antennae scrape the bottom of your plane, pull up!

  13. Do I see a crank or lever there on the left - a crank to wind it up and get it started?? (Yes, I'm being silly.)
