Harvest is more physical than it looks. The hours are long, many details, divided attention, dangerous machinery, climbing up and down, and exhaustion. All that while operating a machine worth as much as a fancy house.
"There's the postal carrier. Late again, I see. And the kids are due any minute now. Better get out of the window before they think I care whether they come home."
