Coverings to beat the sun

  7. I guess the toughest part of your day is choosing whether to seek shelter from the sun under an umbrella or palm tree.

    No one every got hit on the head from a coconut falling from an umbrella.

  8. Somewhere on a Flickr link I have photos of what less fortunate people do in India with these palm fronds. They weave them very intricately and lay them across the tops of their huts or porches to make a roof. You see the people walking along carrying these huge weavings. They're light.

  10. This looks so familiar to me Lowell, it's like looking in my back garden :) although my neighbour has just cut down the palm tree which is a shame!

  11. We have sun too ya know. We just want to stand out in it for as long as we can. It is 33 and the sun is shining. Oh great golden orb in the sky!!!!!
