This cute little critter is new to our neighborhood. When we rode by his home the other day while out biking, he wanted to say "Hello," so we stopped to chat for a minute. I couldn't understand him too well (he spoke a language foreign to me) and I'm not sure where he came from. But he does like people, he said, especially people with cameras. So, I took his picture and showed it to him. He brayed and brayed!
I bet he was so proud to have his picture taken by another Hee-Hawer.
ReplyDeleteBack to the bird feeder---those white post don't really belong---we added them to thwart the Stellar Jays. MB
Hey Hey, donne moi un petit sucre, s'il te plait...allez soit sympa
ReplyDeletesuper portrait
Well, hello there!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was growing up, part of our back yard ended at a farmer's field. They had cows that moved from pasture to pasture on the land, and kept a donkey or two with the herd. Apparently donkeys have a calming influence on cows.
He is cute and I like his whiskers!
ReplyDeleteGlad you have some friendly new neighbours.
ReplyDeleteAfter all he could have been an ass.
He's a sweet one, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteLol!! Wonderful caption!!
ReplyDeleteLovely capture!
Uhh. You're talking to animals now? What does your therapist say about this?
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome fella.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know that you are making new friends but it's a shame that you can't converse with them...
ReplyDeleteCool shot!
What a cute and friendly fellow! You seem to be out and about a lot lately. Keep it up - I love your shots from around town. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to say that expression is 'priceless'. Love your caption. Cheerful start to my day - thank you!
ReplyDeleteHe has a face full of character, looks like you have a new buddy... wonder if he plays golf? ;-)
ReplyDeleteHe really does look like a friendly guy. I'm so glad you stopped to talk to him. We humans don't stop and talk to the animals nearly enough.
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! I like the pink nose.
ReplyDeleteHehe, he looks very curious :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine neighbor to have. You have caught the perfect expression. Are you going to bring him a carrot?
ReplyDeleteAwww, what a sweetie pie! Give him or her a little time. Animals have to learn Human as a second language. He/she looks willing.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to make new friends!
ReplyDeleteHamilton's comment made me laugh out loud :) I do like your new friend Lowell, he looks a little shy!
ReplyDeletep.s. the expression 'the cockles of your heart' is a little like 'he's lost his marbles' makes no sense at all :)
So cute. Love the chin hairs. Kinda like looking in the mirror sometimes...
