I heard the golf tournament was packed with people but I hadn't heard a total yet. It was actually cooler this last weekend than it has been. We are now down in the 60's again when It had been in the high 70's. It's not supposed to get above 62 today. With our dry air, that's just a tad chilly to me.
I almost forgot to answer your question...yes, it was warm enough to eat on the patio that day. Clarkdale is at a much lower elevation than Prescott so it is always about ten degrees warmer there.
I'm so accustomed to California oak trees that are drought tolerant. It's almost confusing to see them in a lawn, with moss. I think I prefer the color version; they look like they're standing in snow in the b&w and I'm chilly enough without thoughts of the white stuff!
I had a couple of those big oaks in my yard up until last summer when I had them taken down. Quite an ordeal, but my grandkids enjoyed the show. It was a little scary when they had to use a crane to lift several huge branches over the roof of my house!
Normally I usually fancy the color photos but on this occasion I really like how these beautiful oak trees look in black and white. The golf course near our home is flooded at the moment so I will enjoy looking at your course all the more.
A fitting name to the golf course at least the oak part.
