This would appear to be an entry for some kind of animal, but I'm not sure which. I asked Bugs Bunny but he just laughed and said, "It ain't my wabbit hole!"
"Entry" is the theme for February. You can see lots of other photographs on this theme by clicking
here.
If that were around here, I would not want to get too close. You never know what will pop out of a hole like that because it is not only an entry, it is also an exit.
ReplyDeleteCould be any small, furry animals, but I'll bet it has sharp teeth and claws. Wouldn't want to reach into the hole to find out. Fine photo for the theme.
ReplyDeleteWeally?
ReplyDeleteI'd be careful looking down there remember what happened to Alice.
ReplyDeleteGood image for the Theme. MB
very creative choice for the entry theme.
ReplyDeleteBTW: Did you see the New Moon and Mercury last night?
ReplyDeleteMB
It looks quite big. I don't think you should hang around there too long.
ReplyDeleteI did get a moon and merc shot--sans tripod of course. but it is kinda wobbly because when it is light out the shutter stays open too long and I's wobbles like a wabbit. But I will post it anyway---soon. MB
ReplyDeleteI think something ferocious lives down there, Lowell! Maybe a killer rabbit from Monty Python?
ReplyDeleteNow that's the best entry I've seen for entry today!!!
ReplyDeleteThat would be one scary rabbit if he needed that big an entry.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with a gopher tortoise. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he's decided to stay in Albuquerque.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite an entry. I don't think I want to know what might come back out!
ReplyDeleteI remember watching a movie way back in the 70's called 'Night Of The Lepus', about giant man eating rabbits. Looks like one of them may still be alive and well, and living in that giant sized hole!
ReplyDeleteLovely take on the theme! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely take on the theme! :)
ReplyDeleteVery clever, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteIt looks quite large for a rabbit. One thing is for sure, I'm not going to venture in to find out who is living there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a choice for this theme day, Lowell, very clever, something I would not have thought...
ReplyDeleteThat would be one, BIG wabbit. Where's Elmer Fudd when you need him?
ReplyDeletemaybe it's for the groundhog. did your see his shadow?
ReplyDelete(btw, my back door goes directly into the cafe)
I'd say it looks like the beginning of a hobbit hole. They start out modestly but expand steadily like most government projects.
ReplyDeleteLOL - Glad to hear that God has endorsed the Hawks. I'm sure that will please our locals.
Maybe that's where the White Rabbit went....Go Ask Alice...or the Jefferson Airplane. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am catching up. Somehow I missed this over the weekend. It is a super entry for 'entry'.
