Well, I guess it's less expensive than a trip to Paris? There's a French restaurant around here that's supposed to be good, too. We keep threatening to go, but usually find something else we'd prefer to splurge on.
Looks like a good place to eat a special meal. If the food is good enough it is well worth the added expense. We don't often get a really memorable meal.
I wonder what's on the menu and if it's real French food or americanised French food. I find that a great many Americans can't eat real French food because their palates are used to American food.
I wouldn't be tempted....wrong flag, Christmas decorations still up, and whenever I see an Eiffel Tower in a French restaurant, I'm leery! Sounds like you've eaten there...whadja have?
Thanks for the post and all the comments! The owner of this blog has been kind enough to call us and tried to elucidate the mystery of our flag :) The flag is a basic American commercial flag to say that we are open (red, white, blue could be read blue, white, red I believe....). No Dutch or Netherlands Flag...
About the Christmas decorations, they are down now, they've been up for a long time, that's true, only because we really are very busy operating and managing the restaurant (front and kitchen).
We hope to welcome each and every one of you, please check our menu on our website Lacuisineocala.com. We came directly from France to Ocala to open this restaurant exactly 5 years ago today :) And we have earned the Golden Spoon for 3 yrs now. A bientôt!!
ah ah c'est pas le drapeau Français , mais le drapeau des pays bas ;)) pour un french restaurant c'est pas terrible ;))

At least where I go, good French restaurants are becoming a bit uncommon. Italian restaurants and fish restaurants are on every corner.
ReplyDeleteIt's time they took down the Christmas decorations!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice little place. I'm not sure I've ever had 'French' cooking before. Well, escargot once and I wasn't impressed.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place.
ReplyDeleteIt looks good. I'll go. MB

ReplyDeleteLooks nice though!
And I didn't even notice the wrong flag that Olivier pointed out! Ouch, that's the Dutch flag.

ReplyDeleteYour photo makes it appear very elegant, great job!
ReplyDeleteI bet I would love this place.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I lived in France for a long time, French food has never been my thing. But it's nice to know the service is friendly. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to find a place like this.
ReplyDeleteLooks very elegant!
ReplyDeleteIf it's good you don't mind it being pricey!
ReplyDeleteThe wrong flag is not a good sign, but the place looks just fine...
