What????? Joseph, Mary and the kid in swaddling clothes. That's it? Come on Ocala. No cows, horses, wise men???? Heck you and I could fill those roles. And don't go there I will not 'play' the horse... either end.
For those of us who live in the land of ice and snow, the nativity scene on grass looks almost comical. Perhaps that's closer to the scene in Bethlehem tho.
It is rather nice to see a little nativity scene on a lawn. One gets tired of too many Santas and Snowmen.
ReplyDeleteThe nativity scene is interesting. Some of them tend to get quite ornate.

I like that last shot. They look like they really enjoy the holidays.
ReplyDeleteThe joyous season is here!!
ReplyDelete2 Christmas trees, for more gifts
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a lot of variety! I think the trees are my favourite.
ReplyDeleteIs it too irreverent to say that Mary looks shocked?
ReplyDeleteOne festivity and three completely different approaches and interpretations... interesting and nice !
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a variety! I think that tree in front in the first photo is a bit over the top.
ReplyDeleteGauzy garlands seem to be very much the fashion this year!
ReplyDeleteDespite all that glorious warm sunshine it still looks very festive!
ReplyDeleteI think that tree is a bit over dressed. But I do like that palm tree in the last photo. It has a nice shape.
ReplyDeleteA nice set of pictures, my favorite scene is the first one!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully wrapped tree. Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus appear a bit lonely...maybe the others hadn't gotten there yet.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you both, however you express it!
ReplyDeleteLowell, are you ok? You're going all Christmassy!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI think that JMJ look a bit isolated on the lawn. I would move them back towards the plants - maybe add some sheep! ;-))

ReplyDeleteMe? Snarky? :-))
ReplyDeletesnowman is a charmer :)
ReplyDeleteHello again, Lowell! These Christmas trees look elegant like ladies wearing red and gold lame shawl. The ornaments in the third image is fun to see.
