HITS Ocala 2015 - II

Smoothing out an arena

We've had some rain so the grounds were very muddy

Better let sleeping dogs lie

Let's see, which way should we go?

Gorgeous, expensive saddles from France

  1. That last shot, especially, is a winner!
That mud looks slick and messy. Not an ideal spot for those gorgeous horses or fancy French saddles.

  2. I wonder what the dogs think of those horses. "What's with the very big doggies eating carrots?"

  3. I bet there is a lot of money around at this event, Lowell!

  4. Nice shots of the show ring and the horses in it. Yes, Mrs. Arlington was a special horse. She was unusual in having near perfect conformation, a great trait in the show ring. I only showed her once and got a ribbon to prove it.

  5. Must be a very global and popular event, isn't that the Queen (albeit in disguise) with her corgis in your third shot? ;-)

  9. Nice shots, Lowell! My favorite image is the third one. Photographing people, animals, and other things at an event looks fun. You made me feel encouraged to go out to an event.

  12. Beautiful shots especially that last one. I would think that mud might make the course a bit risky.

  15. Love that dog looking a bit bored. :) So often they don't appreciate the same things we humans do.
