Wow. That really IS an optical illusion. I totally thought at first that the lower part of the walls was floor that extended past where the customer is standing... cool.
It appears as though they have room for a long line of customers! We have a McAlisters here and I like their food.
I suppose this was designed to lead the starving to the right target. I admittedly get a little muddled when I've gotten too peckish.
I take it that things are rarely that quiet?
This looks like a fun place to bring friends for lunch. I'll have a reuben sandwich please, or a salami on rye with a dill pickle on the side.
I like a good deli especially if they have great dill pickles!

I was expecting a long line of Ontarians to be patiently waiting for service. It looks a bit slow there!
