What I would miss about Ocala...

The rolling hills and mighty oak trees

The rivers and forests

The hundreds of beautiful horse farms

The golf courses

The dear hearts and gentle people

The theme for February 1 has to do with what you would miss about the city in which you live if you had to move away.

How about a math course. ONE thing you'd miss. Maybe that 16th fairway?

  6. You captured the theme very well in your photos Lowell. Ocala is a beautiful area, part of the "other" Florida that most people don't think of when it comes to our state. I love that last shot. It would seem we both like to shop at Publix!

  7. I love that pic of the horse farm, Lowell! I always knew we were getting close to our destination when we saw them on our journey south!
It really is the people that make places special, isn't it.

  14. It's good to love where we are and not always be longing for somewhere else. I guess that's what "bloom where your're planted" means.
