Amen to William's comment!!! Who indeed!! Ah, but we've cooled down!! After two PM and it's in the low 70s!!! Hooray for Oregon weather!!! Well -- most of the time!!
Perhaps when the customer returns to Mimi's they will find their hat and jacket. Tomorrow is suppose to be in the 90s here also, but then cooler after that. Just returned from San Antonio where it was warm, but could have been much hotter.
That would be a highly unusual sight around these parts. However, I did see a young woman get out of a car with a quilted jacket on a few days ago. At over 110 degrees she looked very out of place.
My dad used to put on a jacket if the temperature got below 80. I would never hang my hat and coat on the rack because I know I would walk off and forget them. I've done it before. Hey, maybe those are mine!
In that kind of heat, who wants a jacket?

ReplyDeleteGoing. Going. GONE!
ReplyDeleteDear, have you seen my new hat?"

ReplyDeleteWaiting for cooler days...
ReplyDeleteAhhh. The Rack of Forgotten Threads. My DH has populated a few of these...
ReplyDeleteI used to know people in Phoenix who wore coats sometimes in hot weather.
ReplyDeleteNobody needs a jacket in that kind of heat. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo that shows how "Lost and forgotten" they both are. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have a taste of your poetry .
Thanks

ReplyDeleteLost and forgotten... until fall...
ReplyDeleteI suppose if the air conditioning is too chilly...

ReplyDeleteOh just like here... Not that I'd wear that in those temps!

ReplyDeleteSomeone decided now that they've moved to Florida they'll never need a coat again ;>)
ReplyDeleteFrustrating to lose something without establishing where it was last seen or used.
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating for the owner when he suddenly realizes his jacket and cap are missing!
ReplyDeleteOr maybe just waiting :)
ReplyDeleteOr maybe just waiting :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes you need a jacket for the Florida air conditioning!
