Tree Tumor

This post could also be titled "Tree Tumour" for my UK and Canadian friends. Take your pick.

It is obvious the tree died. It also seems obvious it died from this huge, very hard, tumor (tumour) found inside of it.

Well, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

  3. I laughed! Just too funny. Thanks for the two spellings. I've lived in England for 40 years now and since I've retired I have noticed that my spelling is slipping back to my former American ways...and my accent is more American now too. (Just throwing that in for no particular reason :).)

  4. LOL Lowell! I had to smile at the two spellings, as you added tumour for us Canadians and the Brits. :)

  5. Poor tree. But notice the new growth next to the tumor/tumour? Obviously it's regenerating. (If you accept my story, I'll accept yours!)

  6. I think that a meteor (meteour, Eng spelling?) fell on it!
