Fall Colors in Ocala



 

Fall colors in central Florida cannot begin to compete with the glorious explosions of beauty in the northern climes, but unlike south Florida, we do experience a slight change of seasons.  This morning was 57 degrees and the humidity was low.  And we do get some colored leaves.  It's a nice change after a long, hot summer.

    Oh, what beautiful, colorful trees, Lowell!! I really love the first shot with multiple colors!! Awesome! Not what i think about Florida in the Fall, but then I've never been there in the Fall, so what do I know??? Marvelous captures for the day!! Hope you're enjoying a great day!!

    We are getting cooler temps and some color up here too. I really like those first two shots with the different colors all of the same tree.

    What beautiful trees! Our trees can not compete with northern ones either, but we can find some nice autumn colours here and there.

    These are beautiful shots. We don't see fall colors here until late January or February. I'm equally surprised that your morning temps are down to the high 50's. Ours are still in the high 70's but believe me, that feels very, very good after the heat of the summer.
