This dude would scare me! I prefer to greet the little kidlits with mock surprise and wonder at their wonderful costume. I LOVE Halloween and giving out candy. They're too expensive now but in the past I had a basket of apples handy to give to the teenagers who came to the door. They were not overly joyed at my offering. Kept the "good stuff" for the kidlits.
One of my son's friends, who we've known for over 25 years, has been taking heat on Facebook because he is afraid of clowns. He said a picture of a clown tried to eat him when he was three, and he hasn't liked clowns ever since. Don't think he would like this clown much at all. What is it about clowns that scare kids and some adults? Not everyone has heard of John Wayne Gacy.
YIPES!! That could scare me as much as the kids!! What a hoot!! Thanks for making my day!! Hope you're getting ready for a great weekend!! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteI'd be much more inclined to dress up as the Grim Reaper!

ReplyDeleteNow he is pretty creepy, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteThe kids would get a kick out of it, for sure! Colourful and scary! :)
ReplyDeleteThese creepy little characters seem popular this year. Our local supermarket has a couple of variations on this theme though not as colorful as yours.
ReplyDeleteSo candies less !

Enjoy your day Lowell !

ReplyDeleteBlimey! That would give Aimee nightmares for weeks :)
ReplyDeleteThat would scare me too! I"d have nightmares if I knew this fellow was outside my door.
ReplyDeleteI get scared easily and I’d be most scared when I see him in the dim dark.
