  1. One would presume someone at the museum really, really, really, really likes Christmas.

The sense of openness to the place appeals to me.

  4. Hard to imagine that a nonprofit would devote all the resources to these Christmas trees. In Hartford, the museum has a fundraiser in which various designers and civic groups decorate trees and wreaths and then auction them off to raise money for the museum. I wonder if that is what was going on here.

  5. It looks as if they've definitely covered all the bases Christmas-wise. I too wonder if this may be a fundraiser of some sort. It looks like a gorgeous interior. Very bright and I like the clean lines of it.

  6. I hated taking down our Christmas decorations so it is fun for me to see an abundance of displays you share here. Your staircase image is super.

Happy New Year to you too, Lowell!

  12. I can easily see that this is a place I'd enjoy purusing in detail. The gift shop alone could occupy a chunk of my time.

  13. Oh what fun. The one with the polar bears and the lollipops is my favorite...looks like a Museum even Bill might enjoy (he claims to have toured enough of them for a lifetime already;))!
