This beautiful creature lives on a mini-horse farm about a mile from our house. The animal had been badly abused and was nothing but skin and bones upon his arrival in our area. The new owners, however, have done wonders; it's looking healthy and comes running every time we stop to say hello.
a horrible thing to abuse animals! Luckily this horse is better, a big congratulations to the new owner for it!
ReplyDeleteQuite friendly, considering the past for this animal.
ReplyDeleteAwww…what a sweetie! How nice to have new owners that know how to take care of a beautiful animal like that.
ReplyDeleteLooks so friendly too!
ReplyDeleteHow nice that it has recovered so nicely...and still seems to like people despite its abuse. It's a pretty horse.
ReplyDeletesuch a beauty!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a friendly chap, despite the previous treatment. I think you've made a new friend!
ReplyDeleteThe bad days are over, enjoy your new home !
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that brings a tear to my eye. I'm so glad the new owners have taken this horse in and are nursing it back to health.
ReplyDeleteAbout your comment on my site today, I live in an apartment complex that is part of the Biltmore Estates. My apartment is probably the size of a bedroom in one of those mansions next door, but since I'm on the grounds I walk there all the time. When I first moved to AZ some 40 years ago, I used to drive through the estates to see the big houses. Now almost all of those original houses have been torn down and rebuilt as even larger and more elaborate homes. It's crazy.
Any knight around?
ReplyDeleteI'm always astounded by animals' capability to overcome abuse. Beautiful animal, and hate to think it had been mistreated.
ReplyDeleteit's the day of horse
