Advertising via Azalea Dental Truck

Oh, I long for the days when so-called professionals (e.g., dentists, lawyers, doctors, etc.) did not advertise on television or radio or on billboards or on big white trucks situated in shopping center parking lots!

BTW, I've decided to use my pen name, Jacob Anson, again, for blogging.

But you can call me Lowell,
You can call me Jacob,
You can call me "Whatshisname,"
Or whatever you can make up.

BTW, we'll be out of pocket for a few days and I will not be posting.  Have a great rest of the week and a super weekend!

  4. It is a little tacky, isn't it. I guess advertising, wherever it occurs, is essential for some portion of success. Incidentally, I am baffled about your "open door" policy on my blog. It's early in the morning so I may be a bit slow.

  8. It does strike me as rather tacky... though there's a guy who drives around here advertising something like the Onion King, with his car rigged out with all sorts of garishness, so this isn't that tacky!

    I'd wondered about the name!

  9. Some dental care is better than none, but this advertising does not inspire confidence in quality professional treatment. After their dental work they just drive away. Makes for a powerful photo, however. Have a good break, Lowell. Look forward to your return.

  11. Everything ok Jawell?

Medical professions are not allowed to advertise here. Not doctors, not dentists, not clinics, not hospitals. None.

  12. It wouldn't be so bad if the advertising was discreet!
    Have fun, Lowell!

  15. I don't think I would trust a dentist that advertises on the side of a truck!

  16. I wondered why "Jacob" was using your email on your last post. I've gone back and forth about using my alter ego's name, Zappo Rocket Woman.
    Enjoy your "away" time!

  19. Whatever your name is , I agree with you completely about the advertisements. Between those and politics, we've nearly given up Tv completely and as far as the latter is concerned I'd like to be out of pocket for about nine months.
