HITS Support Facilities

Horses in the Sun (HITS) is a mammoth undertaking. It is held here in Ocala from January through March.

Thousands of people and horses from all over the world are involved.

Above are a few of the support facilities available to those engaged in making every HITS a big hit!

  4. There's nothing simple about an event like this, is there? Most big events I know of are 3 or 4 days, like a county fair. This is monumental by comparison!

  8. January to March is a long long show. Even smaller shows have so much equipment and people just to get the thing going. I can't even imagine the logistics for a 3 month show. Whew I have to go lay down now.

  13. I had no idea this was such a huge event! Wow. The traveling veterinarian is quite amazing and of course I can see how that is needed. And the other things you show are necessary for all festivals and events I think.
