Just wanted to reply to your comment about the El Tovar sign. The hotel was named for Spanish explorer Don Pedro de Tobar. (don't ask me why they spelled it differently) It was originally to be called The Bright Angel Tavern, but they changed it to the more fancy name just before opening.
Older homes, how nice. The sunset picture on my blog was taken by bob---I occasionally put one of his on but usually credit it to him. Thanks for the nice compliments you always have for me----I love it!!! MB
I can't decide but I would probably take the last one!
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful looking homes you have in your town.
ReplyDeleteWhat fine houses. Warm greetings!
ReplyDeleteThat first one would look quite at home further north.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my favorite. Is it for sale?
ReplyDeleteOK I want to live in that first one. The turret sealed the deal for me.
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful, Lowell, and my favourite would be the first one. :)
ReplyDeleteThe top one (blue trim) could be here in Oregon -- the bottom one is definitely Florida.
ReplyDeleteI'm not used to seeing tile roofs on homes of the style in the third shot. And I guess that's a fire escape? Different.
ReplyDeleteI'd live there in a minute. Lovely. I am back, as you see, and will be visiting more often.
ReplyDelete...I meant the top house!
ReplyDeleteSão umas belas casas.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

the first is for me !
ReplyDeleteAll three are beautiful but too big for me.

Wow, gorgeous places. Do you think I could move into that last one?
ReplyDeleteThree very different homes.. I rather like the turret in the first home Lowell, I can see myself up there, wonder what the view would be like 😊
ReplyDeletePretty nice places, I especially like the dormer window on the top house.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty houses!
ReplyDeleteI have always fantasized about living in a house with a round room that I could use for a studio .
ReplyDeleteLooks very good, I like!!
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
I'd like to have the first one, or the third one, I can't decide...
ReplyDeleteLooks like not only the houses are big, the gardens are quite big too. ( Here we have some BIG houses, but most people don`t have BIG gardens.
ReplyDeleteI like house number 1 and 3 the most.
So beautiful architectures in your town. My favorite of the three is the first house.
