Atop the yard light, Pumpkin #1 in the first photo, was feeling pretty good about herself. Here she was on top of her world (so to speak) where she could survey her domain and bring smiles to the faces of children of all ages.
But sadly that was not to be because the Pumpkins in the second photo, although they look happily innocent are, in fact, just the opposite. The face you see is the face they present to the public. But when no one is looking, they gang up on Pumpkin #1, call her names, tell her she probably has liver disease because she's so yellow, that she's trapped on that stupid pole and that the kids actually think she's stupid.
However, the Pumpkins in the second photo are not going to do any of that anymore. They watched me take their picture. They heard me say that if they didn't behave they would have to face the consequences, the worst one being they would become mascots for the rock group, "The Smashing Pumpkins," and would be required to illustrate on stage what a smashed pumpkin looks like.

ReplyDeleteI see what you're doing here Lowell and I for one hope the pumpkin in the first shot is victorious over the evil pumpkins in the second shot led by one more evil than the others 😊 I could say they would make a big pot of pumpkin soup but I think that soul would be a bit tasteless 😀😀
