I had a horse that same color. One of my favorites. Some call that color buckskin and others call it a line back dun because of the dark line down the middle of the back. Whatever you call it, that is one beauty of a picture. So nice of the horse to pose so well for you.
By the way, a turtle barge is a name I made up for a small floating platform that they put out in the lake. Most of the time it is covered with turtles, but sometimes the birds use it too. My family and I are fine. Hope you and Lois Anne are doing well too.
How elegant! This is the equine version of the "Looking-back Beauty". The pose reminded me of the masterpiece of Moronobu HISHIKAWA’s color print “Mikaeri Bijin” (Looking-back Beauty), a woman clad in kimono is looking back elegantly.
