Hundreds of people - young and old - showed up to walk the mall on Halloween night. The stores provided candy and everyone filled their bags. We were surprised to see that someone brought a dog along.
Many interesting and unique costumes were on display. One person came already boxed up which is good because here in Florida, we like to jump start Christmas. Thus the tree is already up in its usual spot outside of Macy's.
Now, we're just waiting for Santa.

ReplyDeleteAmerica really does know how to celebrate Halloween.
ReplyDeleteAll your photos are particularly enjoyable for me...I miss all those stores I see in the background, even T-Mobile. Your top shot made me smile. We were only talking about Bath & Body Works yesterday :).
I love the woman in the green dress. In Poland there are a lot of Christmas decorations too.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a crime that Christmas decorations go up even before Halloween. Here too.
ReplyDeleteSome creative costuming, but way too early for Christmas decor!
ReplyDeleteI have to get through Thanksgiving before I put up the tree! Whew!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Those are some great costumes too. We did the usual trick or treat around the neighborhood with my grandson. He got an impressive amount of candy!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that I felt bad for the poor little dog. He must have been nervous while in the mall with all those people. The Christmas tree is up already, I csn't believe it. Oh well, have a great day Lowell,
ReplyDeleteI like the tree, Lowell, and such a flurry of activity and costumes in this mall! :)
ReplyDeleteFun people watching!
ReplyDeleteSo I'm scrolling through the photos and enjoying the Halloween festivities, and bang! Suddenly it's Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, rather creative. Yet, no Halloween can compete X-mas. Not only costumes, but the atmosphere, the festive spirit. Waiting for Santa!!!
ReplyDeleteWell we don't do Halloween quite as intense as you guys Lowell but I can tell there are Christmas trees up in many shops already.. most distressing 😀😀
ReplyDeleteI love the box man. That can't be an easy costume to wear and walk in.
ReplyDeleteGreat costumes and that box person did make me laugh! Too soon for the trees though.
ReplyDeleteI love the box robot, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteI love the person in the boxes! What a funny costume!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice of the mall to host this event. I like to see communities coming together.
(Though it's still too early to put up a Christmas tree!)
Definitely too early for santa.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture opportunities ... and fun! But gosh, Christmas already?
ReplyDeleteIt’d be good pastime to photograph different costumes on Halloween but I’m speechless with the last image. I’d like to say not to rush for Christmas and enjoy the each moment of the lovely changing seasons.
ReplyDeleteYoko
I enjoy Halloween because people of all ages get involved and seem to love it!
