This home is located in our neighborhood, just a few blocks from where we live. I became enamored of it the first time I saw the place - it just looks the way a Florida house should look.
The first photo was shot a couple of weeks ago and you can see the vegetation has been attacked by ol' man winter. The second photo was taken mid-summer and gives you an idea of the beautiful flora surrounding this place.
Quite a difference between summer and now, but your idea of Old Man Winter is not my idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful home and I love the old trees surrounding it.
ReplyDeleteThose trees are particularly beautiful. And it looks as if they've been carefully and nicely pruned.
ReplyDeleteIt looks peaceful and secluded, how lovely!
ReplyDeleteI like your winters.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fine looking house, but the winter vegetation does not look so bad. All the vegetation around my house dies in the winter, now that is what looks bad.
ReplyDeleteUma casa enquadrada por duas belas e imponentes árvores.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

I'd call that yard "Lush"! Beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteHey looks like California----only in my imagination.

I like it too! A nice yard and the colour of the house is perfect for Florida. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely home Lowell, more of the bungalow style, one level spread out. Do you remember that TV show The Golden Girls, I always loved the house they lived in ☺
ReplyDeleteLooks like Florida to me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home!
ReplyDeleteLucky owners.
great house in the wonderful setting
ReplyDeleteA beautiful looking house. Looks like it has plenty of shade too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place to live.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
A beautiful home, Lowell !
ReplyDeleteDear Lowell - One-storied house surrounded by the lush green, is it Florida style? I’ve learned the phrase “Old Man Winter” for the first time. As winter personification, we have “fuyu shogun” literally meaning “winter general”. In English it is “General Frost”, which is the personification of frigid cold wave from Siberia which defeated General Napoleon. Weather has been fickle here alternating unusual warmth and intense frigid cold. Wish you warm, sunny February.
