What a beautiful park, Lowell! And I love the green in your preening pine photo! I could see myself taking a lovely long walk here and enjoying every minute of it!
Silver Springs State Park looks like a fascinating place to visit and see the great variety of flora and fauna. FIne photos. BTW, the world "Circus" comes from the Roman-Latin root for circle, the shape of the arena where sports, games, and spectacles occurred. So our concept of Circus changed for the shape of the stage to the performers who entertain us.
Looks like a nice park and I'd like to walk the new walkway in person. What attracted me more is your captions to the pictures,“Rising Dead” and “Preening Pine”, the products of your sense of humor. BTW, Silver Springs sounds like oxymoron.
Thank you for the tour, Lowell, looks like a very nice place to spend a day. Many thanks also for your nice and exhaustive comment on BDP. My answer to your question is there.
That looks like a great new walkway!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place to visit. I do like the walkway. I thought the last photo was an older version of the walkway. Nice job, it does look vintage.
ReplyDeleteThe Rising Dead is my favourite of these.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Lowell. Silver Springs always takes me back to wonderful memories of my childhood.

A pretty and large park by the look of your photos. Wonderful for a daily stroll.
ReplyDeleteThat entrance looks very familiar. Could it be the same as the one I saw when I was a kid? Wonderful tour!
