When I first saw this scene in the parking lot of our local mall, I thought there must be a horse show somewhere. That first trailer to the right has a picture of a horse on it, right?
Yes, but I was wrong. Turns out there was an auto show just down the road at the college and these trucks and trailers were used to carry the vehicles. We didn't make the show, but I did get an interesting picture.
P.S. There were many more trucks and trailers behind these but I couldn't get them all in the photo.
I would have never thought that people would transport a car in one of those trailers. Whatever works I guess.

ReplyDeleteThose cars are "trailer queens," only driven onto and off trailers at car shows. They might looked used if driven a few miles, and they might be exposed to possible traffic accidents. Pickup trucks are perfect tow vehicles. Interesting photo.
ReplyDeleteI guess they have to keep those cars protected. One of my neighbors has a big trailer like that and for the longest time I couldn't figure out what was in it. Turns out it's a fancy car!

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the Barrett Jackson auto auction here in AZ. There is literally a sea of these trucks pulling trailers to pull those cars. When I went to the last show, I saw someone loading up two cars that they had purchased at the auction so they could haul them away. I wonder what it would be like to have that kind of money. I wouldn't spend it on cars, that's for sure.
