This shot was taken in a cancer hospital. It appeared that the younger woman was comforting the older woman. Comfort is needed when our life cracks up, and that's what led to the fresco effect.
Photo and text go together nicely Lowell. Unfortunately we all experience crack ups every now and then. It's nice to have someone to comfort us when we do.
About your comment on my post today about moving the cannon toward a certain person's office...if the cannon worked, that would be an excellent idea! It would have only needed a little push since the Capitol is just across the street from City Hall.
I love this photo and could relate to its meaning well. I have been a Hospice volunteer for many years now to give support in palliative care for the terminally ill.
Dear Lowell - You seem to know right about what effect is the most effective to each of the different scenes. We must face and fight our problem but the worries are decreased through the comforts by families. I have to add I often depend on comfort foods even when I look careless.
Giving comfort to one another should not have to wait 'til an emergency or trouble occurs. I need to remind myself of that. Wild Wendy is trying to give comfort in the care centre that we visit on Mondays, but she is so exuberant she gives pleasure in a different manner!!
Touching scene, and your decision to use the crackling effect was a good one.
