I think I prefer the colored ones, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be eating with the bears! We've had some black bear sightings near my neighborhood. They seem to be interested in people's garbage cans.
Sometimes it is nice to find a chair along a trail, but chairs sitting in bear country is not a good idea. Leave the woods to the bears, and make plenty of noise when walking in the woods.
I love the coloured ones, though. I also love the green ones...but then again, green is my favourite colour. However, the coloured ones are so sunny and eye-catching! :)
I love the colored ones! But bears ... brrr, no! Here we have a "real" Bear Forest in Ouwehand Zoo Rhenen. It's a semi-natural sanctuary for abused and traumatized bears. I think you'll love it :-)
You'd wonder what the bears think of them.

ReplyDeleteThat chair on the right in the second photo looks like maybe a bear has been sitting in it.
ReplyDeleteLove the colours of those tables and chairs. Bears? Really?!

ReplyDeleteTables laid out for the Big Bear family!
ReplyDeleteWell, hey. Isn't there a saying about bears sitting in the woods? Or maybe that was something else.... ;-)
ReplyDeletePretties! I'm picturing a bear tea party.
ReplyDeleteThe colorful garden set made me feel cheerful but of course, not bears. I’ve learned new words, “incongruity” and “palatable”.

Made me laugh out loud Lowell.. could this be the perfect setting for a teddy bears picnic 😀😀
ReplyDeleteWe have also a few bears here, but not such colourful chairs.
ReplyDeleteThat must be why the chairs are empty..

ReplyDeleteOdd place to find them but, I do like the mixed up colors in the first shot.
ReplyDeleteOk, I confess. I had to look up incongruity :).
