This father and his children were walking the Silver River Trail in the Silver River State Park. The trail is about 1/2 mile long, and they were almost to the river. Not an alligator in sight!

Love seeing families enjoying nature! As you've said (and I just used your line somewhere else) alligators only have to eat once a month -- not to worry! I love reading comments on my blog whenever I post a picture of our favorite reptile.
I see the kids have sticks to beat off the alligators!
