The Hungry Bear Drive-In, located in the downtown area, has been in operation as long as I can remember. We've never eaten there, and this photo was taken on a Sunday when the place was closed, but it does a good business during the week so I'm guessing it has many satisfied customers.
That's a classic looking old drive-in. If it's surviving this long it must be doing something right.

ReplyDeleteYou've reminded me of the Eat Rite diner. I had a few very early morning breakfasts there back in the 90's.
ReplyDeleteI guess I should explain further. The Eat Rite diner was in St. Louis and when I worked there my friends and I would end up there after a night of....shall we say clubbing.

Drive-Ins are not as common here as they are in the US. The Hungry Bear might be one to try! :)
