Ready, Set, Go!

It was unbelievable, really! One winter afternoon, as I was walking down a hospital corridor, I noticed a small insert in the wall and saw two of these whatchamacallits hanging out together. As I passed by, I heard the one on the left say, "OK, let's make a break for it!"

Not waiting to see what happened, I shuffled along double-time in the opposite direction!  The hospital shut down for two hours later in the day, though.

Nah, I just made that up 'cause this is such a boring photograph.  And I did warn you.  I said it was unbelievable.  ;)

  1. They planned for everything when building that hospital!

  2. Maybe they raced each other to see who got out first. The right one was probably faster because it not loaded down with the digital devices. :)

I wonder what they really are, maybe patients ride them. :)

  3. Handy to have such an alcove.

    I'd call them whatchamacallits too.

  6. So, Lowell...did you return those nasty, expensive grapes you bought...or were you just expressing, you know, sour grapes?

  8. There is a youtube video going viral that is two robots "escaping" so creepy and reminded me of this photo. These movements in machines are not out of the question, at least in the future.

What were you doing in the hospital?...

  11. Me again. I, too, am stunned and shaken by this latest school shooting, I am scared to death for my grandchildren and for my daughter, who is a high school band director. Our leaders seem to be paralyzed when it comes to doing something about this and it makes me so angry. Their "thoughts and prayers" are not going to change it. Our idiot governor going on TV and saying this is "pure evil" is not going to help either. I listened to him being interviewed last night and watched him dodge and avoid any questions he got about gun control, as did our blonde bimbo attorney general. It makes me sick.
