With regard to the title, I'm exaggerating a bit. If there is a "tale" here, I don't know it. But this cart, created to give the impression of age, and another time, may have been based upon a tale. It was obviously built to carry items from one place to another.
The black and white treatment was an afterthought, and because colored photos were not utilized at the time these carts represent, I thought it might be a good idea to see what this old cart looked like in b&w.
Which do you like best?

Nice old cart. I like both versions, the colour version because I love seeing the rust and the b&w version simply because it gives you the old vintage look. Choices can be hard sometimes.

ReplyDeleteThat really does look like an old cart. It makes me wonder if it really is old or if it's been carefully constructed to look old. I'll go for the color shot. I like seeing the fading paint and the rust.

I can't decide! I like them both.
ReplyDeleteI see that the rubber plant is trying to add some rubber to those iron wheels. Yes, I think this is an old railroad baggage cart. It has a hook on the back so several carts can be ganged together. I like the b&w version, but color is good also.
