Big Tractor, Small Yard

This is one of those things that you see once in awhile; an anomaly, something that's verifiably out-of-place. The tractor sits in the front yard of a small house in the historic area of Ocala. There seems to be no reason for it to be there.

'Tis a mystery for sure!

  3. It certainly makes one stop, look and think! It is a most unusual lawn decoration and must have a story behind it.

  4. This is similar to the tank that sits in the front yard of a Frank Lloyd Wright house near where I live. I've always thought it was odd and then I learned that the owner of the house was somewhat of a military buff and he has one room in the house full of military memorabilia.

  5. A retired farmer lives there and he brought his beloved tractor with him to the city? ;-)

  8. Maybe he was a farmer once and this holds a sentimental value for him and doesn't want to dispose it off.

  9. It looks like someone's brand new pride and joy. Or a new kind of redneck yard art.

  10. Yes, it's a big and colorful tractor and the yard it's seems to be tiny.
    Have a nice weekend

  11. Oh there's always a reason Lowell, unfortunately we'll never know the reason for this.. unless you bump into the owner riding down Oscala main Street on his tractor.. then I think you are absolutely entitled to ask WHY 😀😀
