...all roads lead north or make that south. US Route 27 runs 1,373 miles between Miami, Florida and Fort Wayne. US Route 301 runs 1,099 miles between Glasgow, Delaware and Sarasota, Florida. US Route 441 runs 939 miles between Miami, Florida and Rocky Top, Tennessee. Neat history about US highways.
I'd better go North---don't want to make a left turn or go so far south I'd fall in the water Didn't you once say you were stationed briefly at Whidbey Island Naval Station? Well that is south of Anacortes MB
Wouldn't it make more sense to group all the North and all the South signs separately?? This is such a hodgepodge. The attorney's sign ("truck accident attorney") behind it is the only thing that makes sense.
A volte troppe indicazioni ci confondono le idee....

Stare at that too long and that'll cause a headache.
ReplyDeleteThis asks for lots of preparation before getting in the car.
ReplyDeleteA bit confusing, north and south in the same direction? I go straight ahead...
ReplyDeleteThe U.S. started numbering highways in 1926. There has been mixed results about directions ever since.
ReplyDeleteThis is why GPS has become so popular!
ReplyDeleteWhither thou goest, my friend?
ReplyDeleteI'm happy I don't need to drive a car there... :D

ReplyDeleteWay too many options and I would probably still take a wrong turn. :)
