Cracker Barrel does pancakes?? Does this sign mean they'll never serve waffles?? And what about crepes? I can't handle that sort of uncertainty when it's time for breakfast, especially if I haven't had plenty of coffee. (To answer your question, I didn't see any Cadillacs sunken into the desert where we went, though I've heard of them.)
You have an good eyd to find like this. Interesting phrase, but to be honest I’m puzzled. I wonder whether “waffle” is a noun as a square cake or a verb.
Silly or clever? The restaurant business is pretty tough so I suppose any trick of merchandising is used to entice customers.
ReplyDeleteLove this sign. Well spotted and photographed.
ReplyDeleteGood one, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteWould this mean more customers? ;)

Surely they could have thought up something better than that!
ReplyDeleteI think there used to be Cracker Barrel restaurants here, but years ago. I don't know if there are any left.
ReplyDeleteFunny sign, a great find Lowell. I prefer waffles instead of pancakes, always have.
ReplyDeleteThey were not very happy in choosing of the slogan.

The ubiquitous Cracker Barrel must be competing with a waffle house.
ReplyDelete(If you ever need a word with 3 "u", I just realized ubiquitous is your go-to word).
