Ocala Downtown Market

The Ocala Downtown Market is open on Saturday mornings. Farmers and other bizness people bring their products to the market and local citizens take advantage of things like eggs, produce, jewelry, etc.

We've not been to this location, but on a previous visit, I thought it was more like a mini-flea market than anything else.

Still, it's a good deal for you can score really fresh stuff here as opposed to the crap you buy in the supermarkets.

Fresh produce is the best but being in a minimalist period the other 'stuff' would have to be bypassed.. by moi 😀

I haven't been to this market since I usually work on Tuesday. I live near the Webster flea/food market and go there quite often.

Our main farmer's market is Sunday mornings. I always go down and get some baked goods.

In the summer we have a Farmer's Market two days a week selling fresh vegetables, baked goods, and one or two stalls of meat. It is an expensive, but tasty way to shop.

Fresh produce always welcome!
