Roma's Italian restaurant located in the Foxwood Shopping Center in Ocala offers a large menu selection, good food and good service. Just recently, they opened a bar on the other side of an open space next to their original location.
Then, they added outdoor dining in that open space. So, you can sit outside and order food from one side and drinks from the other side.
The only problem I see is that the heat is stifling and I can't imagine sitting outside to eat these days.
These photos were taken a few weeks ago when temperatures were more moderate.
I love Italian food. Am now trying to avoid white flour, so I've become very good at using alternatives. White flour makes me feel bloated. Re: your comment on my moon photo. Yes, hand-held shot. Just pumped up the ISO a bit, but not much. The moon is rather bright reflected light.
ReplyDelete...I think that the fellow has eaten too much pasta.
ReplyDeletePizza is my weakness. So is air conditioning and a cold beer.
ReplyDeleteWhen the weather is right for it, nothing beats eating outside.

I like pizza, but am pretty fussy about who makes and sells it. There are few places that serve really, really good pizza. This place sounds like it is a winner, tho.
ReplyDeleteHow come I missed so many of your posts?? Sorry 'bout that. I like Italian food except not Pizza so much. I know I know not very American of me---LOL

Pizza would do nicely about now!
ReplyDeleteOh how I loooove pasta! A little too much, so tasty but it goes straight to the hips 😀 Yes in summer it's not so much fun saying al-fresco, have to take advantage of any cooler days! Happy weekend you two, have fun ☺
ReplyDeleteSummer is the time for patios here and they are very popular. Most will be packed for the next few weeks with World Cup Soccer matches and I heard that one restaurant has been able to close the street beside them and erect a big screen to show matches.
ReplyDeleteThe pub & the patio is where we would hang out at the faculty club if we belonged to it!
I think the difference in temperature between airco inside and the heat outside may be to big. It's good though that people can choose. I would love to try this Italian restaurant.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place to eat. I haven't had pizza in forever.
ReplyDeleteLove the cafe style dining!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had better pizza around here. There's a new Italian restaurant I haven't visited yet. I don't know if they'll help break the pizza drought.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what gluten free pizza crust tastes like.
ReplyDeleteI like Italian restaurant. I prefer eating inside with air conditioning to eating in the stifling air.
