But your description of French Toast has made me hungry, so I'm off to the Outback!Lowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15305748075301453010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756974947178812123.post-85977836390613683252009-02-28T14:36:00.000-05:002009-02-28T14:36:00.000-05:00When we lived in California we used to go to Mimi'...When we lived in California we used to go to Mimi's for breakfast and order Pain Perdu, which is French Toast stuffed with cream cheese and orange marmalade. MMMMmmmm. We sure do miss that. New England restaurants are closing, not opening and in 15 years, we have not found a decent local breakfast spot.Antjashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05032661963227386912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756974947178812123.post-9950525120580740272009-02-28T08:50:00.000-05:002009-02-28T08:50:00.000-05:00I love places like this.I love places like this.lv2scpbkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05727591726116331492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756974947178812123.post-84014564847714432352009-02-27T19:24:00.000-05:002009-02-27T19:24:00.000-05:00Food!!!!! I like the French ambiance and they do a nice luncheon Quiche.. The breakfast's are huge. It's a fun place to go, but not too often and you are right.. it's noisy but I find most places are these days.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06731374859268583008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756974947178812123.post-65435288210889093852009-02-26T21:55:00.000-05:002009-02-26T21:55:00.000-05:00I'd give it a try.I'd give it a try.Debbie Courson Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00776324320153239092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756974947178812123.post-83090201495534376542009-02-26T18:14:00.000-05:002009-02-26T18:14:00.000-05:00Wow, I'd like to try this Mimi's one day. Service was not consistent and the menu is too limited for me. We were please with the new McAllister’s and even the Gators which is a little noisy for me for sandwiches, hamburgers, salad and some variety. We like Carmine’s on RT 200, past OTOW for excellent Italian food, not a pizza joint with food at all. It is finer cuisine and reasonable in price.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756974947178812123.post-29991180122691508112009-02-26T16:36:00.000-05:002009-02-26T16:36:00.000-05:00The menu is a mix...some French dishes, but I thin...The menu is a mix...some French dishes, but I think mostly American - seafood, steak, various sandwiches...Lowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15305748075301453010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756974947178812123.post-65070329180576524702009-02-26T14:34:00.000-05:002009-02-26T14:34:00.000-05:00Looks like a nice place, what's the food like?
