A visting cardinal




A cardinal flew into our yard
To visit us today.
He proudly posed in robe of red
And then he flew away.

    He's gorgeous! We also get birds of all sorts in the garden, but nothing as pretty as this.

    Even though cardinals are common up here it is always a surprise to see that flash of red as they fly by.
