Yesterday afternoon we stopped at Chili's for a bite to eat after some shopping. Chili's is a Tex-Mex chain with restaurants in various parts of the United States. We've been eating at Chili's restaurants for many years in different parts of Florida.
Justin was our server. Justin was born and raised in Ocala - a native! He's been working at Chili's for almost a year (his one-year anniversary is coming up on May 5.) Justin says he likes meeting people and enjoys his work. He did an excellent job as our server.
The "Chili" balloons were hanging from the ceiling close to our table. I thought they were colorful enough to deserve a place on this post.
Chillin' with the natives. Very nice and very colorful.
ReplyDelete"Chili" sounds great, Jacob. Chili in Germany means red hot peppers that I loved so much.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely blog and I love your shots! :) They are very bright and colorful and yes Congrats in advance to Justin for his one -year anniversary!
ReplyDeleteImagine having your first day at work in a Mexican Restaurant be the "Cinco de Mayo"!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely ballons! This place looks cool indeed and Justin knows everything about margaritas!
ReplyDeleteHe seems a nice young man!
Kind regards
Léia
I love his tee-shirt! He looks like a friendly person!
ReplyDelete@ Greensboro - Hadn't thought of that!
ReplyDeleteLove the balloons. Not so sure about a Margarita psychologist.
ReplyDeleteI love Chili's! I also like Justin's shirt!
ReplyDeleteThe balloons are lovely and Justin tee-shirt is quite funny.
ReplyDeleteDid you feel like"flying in those balloons" after tasting the margaritas!!!
ReplyDelete@ Marie-Noyale - Unfortunately, because I was driving, I gathered all the fortitude I could and declined to indulge in the margaritas. And I love margaritas!
ReplyDeleteThe balloons are great! Lovely idea:)
ReplyDeleteWhat I love at Chili's is their nachos. We don't have one here in Norwich, but Cambridge does. So jealous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow!

feel like I'm right there with you!
ReplyDeleteJustin of Chili's? Is this like Francis of Assisi? Hildegard of Bingen? Jacob of Ocala? Haven't been to Chili's for a while, their booths got lumpy. It's always nice to have a good server.
ReplyDelete@ PJ - I think you were right re: the last one, 'cause it sure was Francis or Hildegard!
ReplyDeleteLumpy booths?
Surprise! We have a Chili's here in Jeddah!!! We have lots of major chain restaurants, including Fuddruckers, Fridays, Papa Johns, and Tony Romas, to name a few. I love Chili's too!
ReplyDeleteha haa ... need a few of those lovely balloons for my son :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Chili's in ages. I wonder if there's one in NYC.
