St. Paul's is located just a few blocks from our home. It appears to be a large and active parish. Other than that, the only thing we know about it is that we go there to vote in the various local and national elections - it is a precinct center.
The facade of this church needs to be covered with possibly the floral arrangement of the previous picture. Then again I am sure there are others who may find this building inspiring, Notre Dame it is not.
That is one of the more unique looking churches I have ever seen before. Great perspective shot. It makes me curious to know what a wide angle shot of the area would look like...... to know what surrounds it.
I like this one, although I'm not sure how this type of architecture will hold up 20 years from now. But it's something different to look at and sometimes that's just what you need!
It's not the building that makes the church. Plus at one time or another all churches were in modern or atleast new buildings. I like looking at old churches but always end up going to the ones in modern buildings.
That's unique. A very different and modern looking structure for a church. Nicely done and beautifully shot!! :-)

ReplyDeleteune architecture vraiment surprenante pour cette église, très moderne.
ReplyDeletearchitecture really amazing for this church, very modern.
Interesting architecture. Instead of windows on the sides, there are windows on the back. Or is that the front? Could be either.
ReplyDeleteVery strange building, apart from the cross hard to think that it's a church. Quite beautiful anyway, I like those great windows on the front.
ReplyDeleteI would be intrigued to speak to the architect and merely ask what his/her thoughts were when designing the facade of this building....

ReplyDeleteA heavenly photo of an interesting church. How about showing us St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Ocala? I hear it's magnificent! Kind regards
ReplyDeleteY'all have some really unique church buildings.

It is unique and modern!
ReplyDeleteThe architecture is at odds with the other buildings you've shared of the area ..
ReplyDeleteInteresting architecture — very modern.

ReplyDeleteQuite the modern look. Our precinct center is at a local Lutheran Church. I always thought it odd to vote at a church.
ReplyDeleteVery contemporary, not bad for modern architecture.
ReplyDeleteThis view almost has a "North woods" feel to it with that beautiful, tall pine tree. I like the church's modern, yet modest look as well.
ReplyDeleteAnother fascinating beauty !! I must say Jacob you really deserve the award as all your posts are simply awesome And i enjoy all of them..Great
ReplyDeletewow that interesting architecture!
ReplyDeleteI also like this. It's original and very elegant. A different world from the depressing location where I cast my vote a couple of weeks ago.
