Five acres and a house for sale



The five acres and this house are located about a mile from our home, back in a woodsy area. We had not driven by here recently, so were surprised to see how the place had become overgrown. Just a year ago, people lived in this house. Now, it is abandoned, although I have a feeling certain folks use it for parties in the middle of the night.

Note the open window with the curtain drifting out.

    It doesn't take long for nature to take over an abandoned property. It looks like a fixer upper.

    Hi Jacob. It's amazing how fast plant life takes back anything that's left alone. It's looks like it's being swallowed. I would hate to have to mow that lawn. :-o

    5 acres is quite big! Don't know what the value of that abandoned house would be.. Considering the lush green surrounding it sure looks awesome... but the fact that it's in a lonely aboandoned area... can't say how many people woudl be interested in buying...

    I have sure learnt from your photos the art of compositing a picture... These are nicely shot!!

    Yeah, the grass is overgrown and the place looks sad. At this moment. But I also can imagine a new family moving in and making it look full of life again!

    How much? A small log cabin would be cute on that piece of land. If the price is right...we don't mind to relocate from St. Pete. Have a wonderful 4th.

    Amazing isn't it how quickly Mother Nature can retake a place. Looking at it now, it's hard to believe folks were living there a year ago. It looks very abandoned and scary.

    I love the way pictures like this tell a story. You can see the years and almost visualize the story this place holds inside. A great picture. It truly inspires imagination.

    @ Nopham - The area code is 352. If you think you might be interested, I've seen another 5 acre property with a couple of buildings (in much better shape than this one) also in a wooded area surrounded by small horse farms. The latter property is another 1/2 mile down the road...
